For those who purposely behave like a British, you can speak like the English, act like the English, or do whatever you think can look like a British, just go ahead! The point is Don't you feel ashamed as you said that you can't understand chinese at all but you were speaking in mandarin?! Why can't I use mandarin to ' communicate ' with my friends since it's my mother tongue? I spoke english with you cuz you are the Head of Xxx and english is the main language in university. BUT it doesn't mean that I have to speak in english all the time, should I?! I have the right to express myself in any languages I want.

Have you ever heard other races said they can't understand their mother hangue? You can refuse to speak mandarin but you can't said that you can't understand. What a shame ...
